I myself was also contacted by Alex Martin who didn't just send me 1,2, or 3 letters saying I was approved for 5,000. He also asked for 500.00 plus another 400.00 in funds.

I sent everything and was told it would be in my account. This was yesterday afternoon. He had already posted a letter saying it would be in a few days earlier but then gave me more BS. about needing extra funds.

I did all he asked me to do and still nothing. I'm sure I won't have the money in my account today as it is Saturday and I can only assume I will never get it. I totally got ripped off and now I'm suffering and paying the price. This was a huge lessened learn.

I called my bank and they said with a credit score like mine no one would lend me 5000.00 even if I did pay any insurance fees.

I'm so upset with myself and know I will never see any of the money that was sent out to them. I hope these people can live with what they do to people because this is so wrong on every level!!!

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Location: Amarillo, Texas

I received a call from a company stating that I was approved for $5,000 and to call to further the process. I typed in the telephone number and it came up with a company called

Hometown Solutions LLC in MN.

The telephone number was 320-287-****. When I called a lady answered saying GE - Capital, I said this is strange and she had a accent.... mmmm. I asked her did she have a website and she said yes and gave it to me and I heard a lot of chattering in the background of people more than likely speaking to people on the phone scamming them.

I experienced this before. So, I told her if I have to pay you anything to get a loan I don't want it...and I asked her would I have to pay you to get the loan and she said yes some kind of registration fee or something of the sort of $125.00. I told her no thank you and hung up. I know how it is when you are in need of extra funds and need a break for someone to get you to the next level, but we must keep our heads level and do our research before plunging in, no matter how desperate.

Anytime you have to pay a loan company money to give you a loan something is wrong. It's backwards.

After hanging up I typed in GE-Capital and found complaints all over the place. These scammers have one thing in mind get our money rather than us getting theirs.
